Angela Mia Oriental Dance Artist
Angela Mia is an oriental dancer and dance instructor born in Paris (France). She has an experience of more than 18 years , and is also a choreographer. After a solid training with national and international master teachers, she performed in many places in France and abroad, before devoting herself to a career as a soloist and beginning teaching. She had the opportunity to perform on stage and to teach in Morocco, Spain, Portugal, Guadalupe, Corsica, Switzerland, Germany ... Today, she lives in Dubai and transmits this art through regular classes, workshops, while organizing and participating in shows.
Biography
Since she was a child, Angela practiced dance. She started with classical dance and modern jazz, before taking part in Rhythmic and Sports Gymnastics for several years. These different disciplines gave her the sense of rhythm and musical listening as well as a taste for stage and shows. In year 2000, she discovered oriental dance and trained in this discipline with several national and international teachers. She first joined a troupe of dancers, which quickly allowed her to acquire a solid experience of stage. Then she decided to continue her career as a soloist, and was offered several opportunities to dance in France and overseas: she had the chance to travel to Guadalupe (French West Indies) or Corsica to make her performances. At the same time, Angela teached oriental dance in Paris. She still teaches regular weekly classes to beginner, intermediate and advanced students.
In 2012, she produced her first show "Escales" in Paris, with several artists from very different universes, for a show around the world dances. In 2013, she realized her dream by performing her solo show "Raqs Sharqi". It is with great emotion that she completely interpreted this show, by proposing different styles making the spectators travel to Egypt. Since then, she was regularly invited to dance on Parisian or regional stages. She also participated in festivals abroad: she was part of the Tito Seif Ballet at the Al Ahram Festival in Valencia (Spain) in 2015 and 2016. In 2016, she produced and directed the show "Kan Ya Makan": a dance show with artists Beata Cifuentes (Germany), Anasma (USA / France), Zomzom (France / Morocco), Ya Nawaem Troupe by Raed Abd Elghany (Egypt / France). In 2017, she produced and directed "CASINO BADIA": a show of oriental dances with international artists such as Diana Tarkhan (France / Egypt), Zomzom (France / Morocco), Leila Oriental (Serbia), Samara (France) , Raissa Leï (France / Morocco), Ursula (France).
In 2017 and 2018, she organized in collaboration with the Association Princesses d'Orient (of which she is the artistic director), a dance journey in Portugal, in the Algarve region.
Angela has also appeared on several French TV shows: "Touche pas à mon poste" in 2013 for the release of the film “La vérité si je mens 3", " Touche pas à mon poste " and "Hanounight Show" in 2016 , etc ...
Today, Angela leaves in Dubai (UAE). She teaches oriental dance, within several dance studios. She still choreographs and coordinates the students' annual Gala every year in France.
She also dances in events (weddings, birthdays, seminars): France, Corsica, Guadalupe, Marie-Galante, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Marrakech, etc ... She participates in many events throughout the year, and regularly organizes workshops on a wide variety of topics.
